The Tack Change Over Switch allows two NMEA 2000, Simnet, Seatalk NG, or CANbus 'Smart' sensors such as the Airmar DST800 on one instrument system or display. Boat Speed and/or Depth PGN's are automatically routed from either the Port or Starboard transducer or boat speed sensor and output as a single source to the connected instruments. If the apparent wind information is available on the bus then the Tack COS will use this as priority for deciding which tack the vessel is on. If no wind PGN is available then the Tack COS has its own gravity change over switch built in. Installation couldn't be easier. Simply screw to the bulkhead and connect to the bus using the supplied NMEA 2000 connection.

The standard version Gravity Switch has change over contacts for use with more traditional sensors. However, it is no ordinary gravity change over switch. Running intelligent algorithms, the switch avoids unnecessary switching which causes inaccurate boat speed readings, delayed depth readings and early switch contact failure. With an inbuilt microcontroller, this switch prevents the unwanted switching between transducers whilst sailing in light breeze, downwind, motoring or while the boat is at rest. The standard version works on gravity alone to calculate which transducer to use. There is also an NMEA version that takes NMEA wind angle data to calculate which tack the boat is on, but still using change overcontacts to switch traditional sensors. This version is especially useful in catamarans or other craft with very small heel angle. These Tinley products have been designed to work with almost any manufactures speed or depth instruments.

The Digital Loadcell Amplifier converts standard load cells or load pins into RS232, NMEA 0183, CANbus, Garmin GNX mast displays, NMEA 2000, Bluetooth option or 0-5V analogue data. It also has a trip relay for use as an alarm output or limit switch. The DLA1 can be connected directly to our A+T MFD display and Loadpin to work as a standalone system, with user friendly calibration and alarm settings carried out entirely from the display buttons. Alternatively the DLA1 can also be calibrated from a PC connected via RS232 or via a push button and adjustment inside the top cover. The DLA1 has two RS232/NMEA inputs and can be programmed to multiplex these inputs to combine data with the measured load before re-transmitting it via any one of the outputs. The output of the DLA1 can be logged using a PC running Expedition software. The DLA1 offers fantastic accuracy, stability and noise immunity.

The Old2New converts NMEA 0183 V1.5 to NMEA 0183 V3. It can also 'multiplex' 2 NMEA inputs into 1 NMEA output with an additional USB connection for a PC, allowing any navigation software to receive and transmit fully Opto-Isolated NMEA. Additionally, user selectable filters can be set to filter in or out any combination of NMEA sentences independently from either input. Use standalone 2 into 1 NMEA or connect to a PC to automatically provide 2 NMEA into USB and USB back to NMEA. No additional power supply is required when connected to USB. NMEA2000 Engine Gateway

We have hardware ready for programming that can convert any 3 analogue signals into NMEA or CAN BUS. This hardware has two separate CAN buses, so it has also been used as a gateway device to seamlessly 'merge' missing data into existing PGN's. For instance, some engine manufactures such as Yanmar do not include Oil Pressure or Tilt/Trim in the standard PGN, so this device can happily add it so that the receiving instruments believe the information originated from the engine.
